Dr. Darlene Allen-Nichols was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. She is the daughter of the late
Professor Ernest Allen, Sr. and Mother Lorraine Allen. As an acclaimed motivational speaker and executive coach, she
has traveled throughout the United States and surrounding areas spreading the good news of hope and truth. She has been
the keynote speaker for various events including youth conventions, career days, marriage retreats, women’s retreats,
empowerment seminars, life enrichment seminars, prisons & boot camps, and Global fellowship services.
Dr. Darlene is a television personality and can be seen weekly on Chicago Cable station CANTV. Professionally,
she is an Investment and Financial Services Manager. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Investment Administration
for Northern Trust Global Investments. Dr. Darlene earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration, a Master's in
Business Management, both from DePaul University; a Master's and Doctorate of Divinity from the Grace Theological Seminary,
and a PhD in Organizational Leadership with a concentration on women’s studies from Capella University. As an entrepreneur, she is
the founder of DAN Ministries Inc., a 501c3, non-profit organization which aims to build self esteem, instill educational
awareness, empower and increase self worth within women, men, and children. Her organization hosts
annual corporate functions, empowerment training seminars, women in leadership forums, as well as its core conference "Touch
“1” Life".
Dr. Darlene is also the author
of the book "Peeling The Layers", a book designed to promote personal productivity within youth. As a wife & mother, she has
been happily married to Eugene Nichols Jr. since 1996. Together, they have two sons; Eugene III, affectionately
known as (E.J.), and Austin.
